4.7″ iPhone 6 display backlight leaked on Weibo

Another set of unverified images of the iPhone 6’s parts has been leaked on the Chinese site Weibo today. User “顾Gooey” who posted the pictures these pictures show the display backlight components for the next-generation iPhone with a 4.7-inch screen, rumoured to release later this year.

We can’t verify the legitimacy of the photos, but these parts do appear to be produced in a fashion similar to the iPhone 5c and iPhone 5s which means he is either passing off the current-generation part as next-generation or that there is something legitimate about the components. However, Nowhereelse.fr notes that the connector has been moved slightly from the iPhone 5c backlight, and the pins are slightly different, indicating some possible changes from Cupertino.

he iPhone 6 is rumored to come in both 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch sizes, and it will run iOS 8, include a more efficient A8 processor, and likely feature a 1704 x 960 display with a sharper pixel density.

Here’s another close-up shot of the display from the back:
