Motorola adds LTE, microSD support to Moto G at today’s Moto E event

When Motorola released the Moto G few months back, one of the only complaints with the low-budget device was its non-expandable storage memory. If that’s the reason that you decided to get another handset with an expandable storage in the same price bracket, Motorola’s announcement today is supposed to make you regret it.

Today, at its ‘Moto E’ launch event in New Delhi, India (as well as in London, UK), Motorola has announced plans to release a new version of its highly popular budget smartphone the Moto G. This version will feature a 4G modem and a much requested microSD slot.

The unlocked handset is priced at ₹13,099 (£149 in the UK and $219 in the US) with a choice of black or white bodies — and both should be hitting Flipkart (as it has remained the company’s sole retailer for its previous smartphone devices) within the next few weeks.
